The Mobilink Era

 

I kickstarted my career at Mobilink, where I had the exciting opportunity to help set up the company from the ground up. I played a crucial role in achieving a remarkable 100% Year-over-Year growth. During this time, I also helped lay foundation of the IT department.

 

The Canadian Expedition: Wind Mobile

 

My journey led me to Canada, where I took on the role of Chief Information Officer at Wind Mobile. I was thrilled to build a technology department that became the driving force behind the company's success. My efforts here culminated in Wind Mobile's acquisition by Shaw Communications.

 

The Shaw Communications Chapter: Freedom Mobile

 

Post-acquisition, Wind Mobile became Freedom and I served as the Head of Wireless BSS at Shaw Communications. My focus was on fortifying our technological capabilities, and it was gratifying to be a vital part of the company’s progress and continue to build post acquisition.

 

Conquering the Middle East: stc

 

Later, I joined Saudi Telecom Company (stc), one of the top telecommunications giants in the Middle East. I was responsible for creating a forward-looking technology strategy and laid the foundation for the Enterprise and Business Architecture departments. One of the highlights of my tenure was leading the digital architecture creation for the group.

The Academic Interlude

 

Driven by an interest in new media, I decided to take a hiatus from my professional commitments. I completed a Master of Digital Media degree, setting the stage for a deeper academic exploration. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D., focusing on the ethical and educational aspects of Artificial Intelligence.

 

I continue to be fascinated by the confluence of technology, ethics, and education, and look forward to more challenging and fulfilling experiences in the future
